Tilt-shift photographs are manipuated images of real life to resemble miniature or model scenes.

Using Photoshop is a really good method for getting these results (without having to shell out for expensive lenses for your camera) - and now there is a handy online version at http://tiltshiftmaker.com/

Simply upload a photograph of an appropriate scene, set the focal length, and download the photograph.
